Making Waves in the
Social Media Stream

Creating content and copy for the social space presents its own unique set of opportunities and challenges. On the one hand, you can help erase the barrier between a brand and a consumer by establishing a less formal way of communicating with them directly. That can be especially useful when you’re building brand affinity that taps into the (sometimes) intense feelings people may have about their favorite products and services. Of course, you also have nowhere to hide when a post doesn't land as intended—suddenly becoming less of a conversation and more of a cultural flashpoint.

Navigating those waters is an art unto itself and one I've enjoyed helping my clients do across several social platforms over the years. Here’s some of the content I’ve created and written for several brands that elicited some of the best reactions and engagement along the way. In fact, the "Just Right" Turkey Guide post I helped create for Sparkle® won a 2022 GD USA In-House Design Award.
